Nigeria’s biggest opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rose again on Saturday by winning all senatorial rerun elections in Kogi Central, Kogi East and Benue South.

Former Senate President Mr. David Mark who won Benue South is returning to the Senate. The PDP also claimed victories over all rerun elections in Taraba State.

By winning in Kogi, Benue and Taraba, PDP has displayed strength and proof that the party might not be dead after all, less than a year after it lost the presidency to the All Progressives Congress (APC) of President Muhammadu Buhari.

SimonAtebaNews will bring a full report later today, but below is how PDP celebrated its victories on Twitter.
